OFF SUBJECT

REAL GIRLS EAT! http://www.girlosophy.com/

Every so often we go completely off the subject of photography for a moment. Like today for instance.

Last night I was at the store and ran across this book called "Real Girls Eat". It is a fantastic cookbook for girls put out by this great group called Girlosophy.
Girlosophy's website is filled with information and inspiration. They also provide links to resources, though most are in Australia where Girlosophy is based.

According to their website:
"Girlosophy is more than a philosophy for teenage girls and young women everywhere, it's a way of living that is all about supporting teenage girls to be and feel their very best".

Back to the cookbook. I bring it up because I see from a lot of your photos and read in your emails that body image is still as big an issue for you as it was for me and my friends - in fact, probably more so. Real Girls Eat alone won't cure this, but I do encourage you to seek out books and other ways that you can proactively work to live a healthy life (nutrition is obviously a huge part of that). Whenever and wherever you can find information, ideas and positive solutions, I say go for it!! Take charge of the situation(s) in your life. Believe me - I know it ain't easy... but I also know that you can do it.

Real Girls Eat is available at amazon.com for about $13.50.
